About Us

Bold Botanicals TX is a one woman shop ran by me, Allison Miller. I'm located in Austin, TX, where I moved 7 years ago from St. Louis, MO. I do have some help from my pup, Bella, who is an 11 year old miniature dachshund. 

My love for plants came from my mom, who has been collecting, growing, and propagating plants since before I was born. I'm now an avid collector as well, which has led me to start selling so that I can continue to feed my plant addiction. I work full time as a Software Project Manager, but this hobby has become full time as well. 

Currently, my favorite genuses are Anthurium, Labisia, Sonerila, and Schismatoglottis. I have over 500 plants and counting in my greenhouse and home, and since that number only seems to grow I figured I'd share the love with y'all. 

I also started the Facebook group, Time to Splurge and Purge BST, where over 16,000 collectors buy, sell, trade, purge, and share info on rare and hard-to-find tropical plants, as well as a sister group (TTSP Elite Plant Auctions) for rare plant auctions. Make sure to join us!
